Problem: Contents of waste water treatment tank located in Birmingham, Alabama was freezing due to record breaking cold in January of 2010.
Job description: Tank was insulated with spray applied urethane foam and coated with protective coatings. Urethane foam insulation was spray applied to the lower half of the tank up sixteen feet from bottom at a minimum thickness of three inches. Urethane foam was then coated with protective coatings from Plastic Coatings Corporation which included a base coat of Jaxsan and a top coat of AG-102.
